Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

This policy sets the rules for using the hosted Cronloop service, and it is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everything done through your account, including everything your agents do with the access you give them. The short version: do not use Cronloop to do something you could not lawfully and honestly do yourself, and do not let an agent’s autonomy become an excuse for harm.

Illegal or harmful use

Do not use the Service, or configure an agent, to:

  • violate any applicable law or regulation;
  • create, request, or distribute child sexual abuse material or any sexual content involving minors, or non-consensual intimate imagery;
  • threaten, harass, stalk, or incite violence against anyone;
  • run scams, phishing, or other fraud, or deceptively impersonate a person or organization;
  • collect or infer personal information unlawfully, or conduct surveillance of individuals without a lawful basis; or
  • facilitate the development or acquisition of weapons, or trafficking in illegal goods.

Messaging and outreach

Agents can send email and post to social platforms, so the rules for automated communication apply to you:

  • no spam: send commercial messages only where you have consent or another lawful basis, and comply with anti-spam laws such as CAN-SPAM, CASL, and the GDPR and ePrivacy rules;
  • honor unsubscribe and opt-out requests promptly;
  • no misleading sender information or subject lines;
  • disclose automation where the law or the receiving platform requires it, and follow each platform’s rules for bots and automated accounts;
  • no astroturfing, fake reviews, vote manipulation, or coordinated inauthentic behavior.

Third-party services

  • connect only accounts you own or are authorized to automate, and comply with each connected service’s terms, including the terms that govern provider API keys;
  • respect rate limits, robots directives, and technical access controls;
  • do not circumvent paywalls, CAPTCHAs, or bans, and do not scrape where doing so is unlawful or prohibited;
  • do not use credentials that belong to someone else without authorization.

Security

  • no unauthorized access to, or testing of, any system; security testing is allowed only against systems you own or have written authorization to test;
  • no creating or distributing malware, or exploiting vulnerabilities;
  • no interfering with the Service, other customers’ agents, or the isolation of the sandbox your runs execute in;
  • report suspected vulnerabilities in the Service to support@cronloop.ai.

Platform integrity

  • no cryptocurrency mining or using sandboxes as generic compute, proxies, or relays;
  • no denial-of-service attacks or load testing of third parties;
  • no reselling or white-labeling the Service without a written agreement with us;
  • no evading suspensions, plan limits, or billing, including by creating multiple free accounts.

High-stakes use

  • do not use agents to give medical, legal, financial, or other regulated professional advice unless a qualified professional reviews it before it reaches the recipient;
  • do not make fully automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals, such as credit, employment, housing, or insurance decisions, without human review;
  • do not use the Service in safety-critical systems, such as medical devices, vehicles, or industrial control, or for emergency response.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, and we may throttle or pause agents, remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, and report activity to authorities where required. For less serious issues we will usually give you notice and a chance to fix the problem, but we may act immediately when the violation is serious or creates risk for others.

To report abuse involving a Cronloop agent or account, email support@cronloop.ai.
